This is definitely a topic worth discussing – no matter what size your business is. Here in the Whitsundays I think we can all agree it has been a long and testing time for all of us since the arrival and departure of Tropical Cyclone Debbie (TCD).
I guess one way we can look at it though from a business point of view is like a “trial run”, to see what systems you have in place and how well they work in your business? Or, maybe you found, you don’t have any systems in place at all??
So like everything else here at Kapow Headquarters – we like to look at the positives and see what we can gain from this experience.
We would like to share with you some inspiration! Perhaps the “down time” caused by TCD provided time to even get a different perspective on things and thinking of things you hadn’t thought of for a while (or maybe even ever before) for your business. I think we can all agree that we’ve all had to make changes, to readjust to some degree.
The kinds of things you could have been thinking are –
How do we recover from this?
How do we get people to keep coming back?
How can I reach customers?
How long will this impact our business?
What is the best way to maximise my efforts/time?
Is there something I need to know/any secrets to gain better ROI?
Well the answers to all of these questions are all positive! There are always ways to maximise your efforts and sometimes the smallest shifts in understanding business practice can literally be life changing!
